A Peek Inside

In reference to my last post, I thought I’d show you guys some of the things I’ve started collecting in hopes of one day putting them in my dream abode.

My jewelry stand doubles as a mantle ornament and is currently overflowing, but I think I prefer it that way.

One of the vintage map prints I purchased in Chicago last winter. I finally found the right frame at Ikea and I’m waiting to move into a new place before I find the perfect place to hang it.

A pile of magazines topped with a gilded friend.

My new favorite thing, gifted to me by someone special…a vintage record player housed in a beautiful cabinet. Seriously, mint condition. I’m so blessed! {currently playing: Foals “Total Life Forever, “Miles Davis “Kind of Blue” and Gayngs “Relayted.”}

What can only be described as my growing deer kitsch collection. The rug is from a thrift store and I found the banner/flag/tapestry (?) at Nvision.

My newest furniture find—a secondhand, perfectly worn-in leather loveseat off Craigslist. The Missoni-esque blanket was a thrift find, the fur throw is from Ikea, and the pillows are from Chicken Lays an Egg, the flea market and Pier One. The pillow case third from the left is quite sentimental—I picked it up at a market in Jerusalem over the summer.

XOXO Betsy
