Celebrating Cincy Chic

As we’ve become increasingly aware of the presence of fellow Cincinnati bloggers, there are a few that have developed an especially strong presence within the community.  Cincy Chic is one such publication, and we were excited for the opportunity to attend an event hosted by its founder, Amy Scalia, at Covington’s Lexus River Center.  The extravaganza consisted of both trade and fashion shows, with local boutiques, salons and other female-targeted businesses flaunting the best of their offerings.  Local-turned-Nashville artist Holly Spears performed some Christmas favorites prior to a runway exhibition of looks from Chic n Black, and the ladies of F&F and Style Edit took it all in with glasses of Bluebird Pinot Noir*—delicious!

It was awesome to see so many successful women coming together to support Amy’s work, and in turn, Mrs. Scalia honored several local ladies with Cincy Chic awards for their achievements in various fields.  We left feeling inspired and motivated, but not before taking a turn on the dance floor!
