Cincy Top Spot: Myra’s Dionysus

Between the two of us, opinions vary widely when it comes to music, politics, and even style, but we almost always agree when it comes to food [despite the fact that Becki is a staunch vegetarian and Betsy is a card carrying member of PETA (People for the Eating of Tasty Animals)].  One of our all-time favorite spots is Myra’s Dionysus in Clifton, a veritable smorgasbord of ethnic cuisine from the world over.  It is singularly everything we love about dining out: quaint, quirky, and uber affordable.  Betsy had her usual: Thai Pumpkin soup along with hummus, tabbouli, baba gannouj and garlic-oregano pita bread.  Becki sprung for the Potato & Cheese Soup with the Veggie BLT (contains “facon”—I think you can connect the dots).  Everything is homemade, extremely flavorful  and well-portioned, and only cost us each around $11 with a tip.  Myra’s is THE place to go if you’re looking for a slightly offbeat, yet wholly satisfying meal.
